Hi, I'm a Psychiatrist. I help people who need help with mental health. Love hearing music and watching movies.

Spravato is a new drug for depression, which is being studied by the FDA. The drug was originally developed to treat anemia but was found to have antidepressant effects. According to ClinicalTrials.gov, Spravato has been approved in Europe and Canada. Because it is so new, there are not many studies on Spravato yet, so it’s hard to know exactly how well it works compared with other medications or if it’s safe for everyone who takes it (especially for children).

Yes, Spravato is a good idea if you have tried two antidepressants without success.

If you have been depressed for over 10 years, it is worth giving Spravato a shot. In addition, if you have tried two antidepressants without success (or one that didn’t work at all), then it’s worth trying out this medication.

To be clear: if your depression has only recently developed and/or your symptoms are mild, then Spravato may not be right for you. However, if your depression has been going on for more than 10 years and/or its severity is moderate or severe at times; as well as if this is not your first time trying to get better with an antidepressant—then yes! I would say that Spravato would be a good idea.[ENDWRITE]

Spravato should be used with an antidepressant because it is not an antidepressant by itself.

Spravato should be used with an antidepressant because it is not an antidepressant by itself. It is a mood stabilizer, so using Spravato to treat depression without using any other medications is not recommended. Spravato should only be taken under the supervision of a doctor, who can help you manage any side effects and make sure that you are getting the right dose for your needs.

Spravato can cause passing out as a side effect so it should only be used in a doctors office or clinic.

Spravato is a powerful drug that can cause passing out as a side effect. You should not drive or operate heavy machinery while taking Spravato, and you should not drink alcohol while taking Spravato. Spravato should only be used in a doctor’s office or clinic.

The most common side effects of Spravato are sedation, nausea and vomiting.

Spravato is a prescription drug that comes in the form of an injection. It’s frequently prescribed to people who are suffering from one of the following mental health conditions:

  • Depression or bipolar disorder (Type II).
  • Schizophrenia or other disorders characterized by hallucinations, delusions and/or disorganized speech.
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

Some people have reported symptoms like anxiety, headache, irritability and feeling drunk.

Spravato is a new treatment for depression. It’s not an antidepressant by itself, but it’s a combination of two medications that work together to relieve symptoms.

You can get Spravato in your doctor’s office or clinic with their help. If you have questions about whether this treatment is right for you, talk to your doctor first. In fact, it’s a good idea to discuss any potential side effects with your healthcare provider before taking Spravato because there are some common side effects that may occur while taking this medication. These side effects include nausea and vomiting (but usually go away after 2-3 weeks), dizziness or increased sleepiness (this goes away after 1 week), headaches (these usually go away within days) and anxiety (which can be managed if reported early).

It’s worth talking to a doctor about Spravato if you havent found success with other treatments.

Imagine if you could have a quick treatment that took away your depression and didn’t have any side effects. It’s possible, with Spravato.

Spravato isn’t an antidepressant by itself—it needs to be used alongside an antidepressant like Prozac or Zoloft. But it may help you get better faster, as well as reduce symptoms when they come back later on.

Some people might be concerned about the fact that Spravato can cause fainting episodes when injected under the skin (intramuscularly). That’s why it should only be used in a doctor’s office or clinic setting, not at home by yourself.

If you’ve tried two antidepressants without success, Spravato might be worth a try. If you’re worried about side effects, talk with your doctor about how to manage them.
