“I originally sought out care because I reached a point where I knew I needed to help myself – I was sick of feeling miserable and depressed, it felt like I was doing the same thing repeatedly and wasn’t experiencing any relief. I came to The Remedy because I wanted to follow my provider when she started here. I have been receiving medication management and am going to be starting TMS treatments soon – I’m so excited! I feel like my provider has already helped me so much in coping with my depression and PTSD symptoms with medication.
Since beginning treatment, I finally feel like I can get out of bed and function, and I’m not in bed for days on end anymore. I also feel heard and validated – if I’m ever experiencing issues with my medications, I feel like my provider really listens to me and continues to work with me until I find a solution. My provider is very thorough, honest, considerate, and helpful. I’ve been surprised at the way that I feel normal again, and not as conflicted with dysregulated emotions and feelings. I feel like I am getting my life back slowly but surely.
The Remedy has felt different from other clinics that I’ve worked with because they are always quick to get people started, and they are very understanding. I’ve never had an issue with not being able to get in as soon as possible as it seems like The Remedy makes urgency of its patient’s needs.
For anyone who is nervous or unsure about receiving help, I would tell them to just do it. Trust your gut because if you would rather sit and dwell on everything you are feeling and experiencing, you’re just making your symptoms worse. The help is here at The Remedy, and you will be able to find some sort of relief if you give it a chance. I am truly thankful and blessed that The Remedy is so caring and thorough with their patients. It seems like they make a patient’s health the most important, above all else.”

“Prior to coming to the Remedy, I have been dealing with or not dealing with my depression and anxiety properly for 20 years after becoming a teen parent. I was tired of a variety of health care providers pushing me off, not listening or even gas lighting me as I floated through the system as I was put on a variety of medications that never really helped.
In the spring of 2023, I finally hit my lowest point. As I mother, I had put everyone and everything first for so long and swept my issues under the rug for so long and couldn’t pretend that it was ok any longer and I finally had hit my rock bottom. I was unable to function as years of PTSD and varies trauma had caught up to me and now I would normally be ashamed to state this out loud but the Remedy saved my life. Dr. Rebman was able to properly diagnosis me and provide medication treatment in addition to the Ketamine which provides an all-encompassing approach to my mental health.
Even though the program has been difficult in some ways, putting yourself first can be but it’s necessary.”

“I originally started medication management services with The Remedy Mental Health because I was following my provider, Andrea, from another clinic. At my old clinic, I was misdiagnosed and was not being treated for my ADHD; however, once I was correctly diagnosed and started working with Andrea, she really advocated for me to start medication for my ADHD. My anxiety and mood symptoms have improved greatly since getting set up on the correct medication, and I finally feel seen and validated by my care providers. It has been the greatest thing to work with someone who is willing to take the time and care to make changes to my care plan and learn more about how to best meet me where I’m at on my mental health journey.
Something that surprised me about working with Andrea at The Remedy was how willing she is to want to help. It feels like not every qualified person takes the time and energy to continue their education in order to best serve the patients that they work with, but it’s different with Andrea. It seems like there is a higher standard at The Remedy that staff and providers have from the start, and they continue to meet – and exceed – those standards. Another thing that surprised me about this clinic is how seamless my transition was from my old provider to The Remedy. The support staff here are so kind and reassuring, it helped to make the change go more smoothly.
For anyone who is nervous or unsure about getting help, I would say that the sooner you get help, the better. You only have one life – you should be able to go after it and not waste any more time feeling scared, especially since there is help like this available for people.”

“I was struggling with severe PTSD and anxiety and wasn’t talking to anyone. I’d avoid social situations and even basic errands like going to the grocery store, it felt impossible.
I then found The Remedy and things changed. I didn’t just feel like another patient. It felt like people actually listened to me here. They weren’t just rushing to give me pills.
Before I came here, I never had an official diagnosis. But once I knew I had severe PTSD and anxiety, it made all the difference. I finally understood why I was feeling the way I was. It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders just knowing what I was up against.
I began treatment with Spravato, ketamine, and therapy and my life started to change.
When I first came in, I could barely talk to anyone, let alone go to social events. Now, I’m able to go to family events and actually enjoy them for more than an hour. I can socialize without feeling overwhelmed. My wife has seen me make a complete 180. She’s so happy with the progress I’ve made.
The Remedy is different. They didn’t just treat me like another case number. They took the time to listen to me, understand me, and really help. It’s not just about medications; it’s about treating the person as a whole. The Remedy feels like a family. There is trust and support here that you don’t find everywhere.
To anyone who is unsure if they should get help, just do it. There’s always help out there, and there’s always someone who will listen. You just have to give them the chance. I thank God I found The Remedy. It completely changed my life, and I’m finally on the path to healing.”

“Before I came here, I was functioning on the outside, but inside I felt numb. Even the smallest things took everything I had. I didn’t feel connected to anything or anyone, including myself. I had tried multiple medications and has seen many doctors but the heaviness just never lifted and I was losing hope.
I had heard about treatments like TMS and ketamine but wasn’t sure if they were the right fit for me. Then my friend mentioned The Remedy and I decided to explore. From the moment I walked in, I knew something was different here. Everyone, from the front desk to the clinical team, treated me like a whole person. I wasn’t just a diagnosis. I felt seen and supported in a way I hadn’t before.
Once I started TMS & ketamine treatment, it wasn’t a quick fix, but little by little, I started feeling again. I had more energy. I could laugh. I started making plans and I could actually see a future. Dr. Bentham is incredibly kind and incredibly smart. I felt safe with him, and I trusted his judgment. And the team always remembered who I was and what I was going through.
People don’t talk enough about how hard it is to keep looking for help when nothing has worked. But I’m so grateful I kept trying. The Remedy helped me find my way through.”

For Reverend Dr. Ed Treat, living with mild depression for nearly 40 years felt like an unshakable fog clouding him. Despite his best efforts, he couldn’t escape the heaviness that weighed him down. A triggering event in his life sent him into a deeper tailspin, leaving him feeling stuck and hopeless.
“I had been dealing with depression for most of my life. I knew something was wrong, but it felt like I just couldn’t get out of it. I tried different treatments over the years, but nothing seemed to make a real difference.
My psychiatrist had recently learned about the benefits of ketamine for mental health and suggested it as a potential treatment. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I trusted my doctor, and together we decided to try a combination of TMS and Ketamine. Honestly, I’m not sure which one made the biggest difference, but the results were undeniable. The treatment brought about a shift in my mental health that I hadn’t experienced before. It was like a light turned on inside me.
The change has been remarkable. get up early now, and I feel good about my day. I’m able to accomplish things I had put off for years, and I’m rediscovering joy in activities I once avoided. I never realized how much I was missing until I started feeling this way.
“The experience at The Remedy was truly transformative. The people here are incredible. They treated me with kindness and respect, and I always felt cared for. As someone in recovery, I was initially concerned about how the treatment might affect my addiction triggers, but those concerns never materialized. In fact, the whole process has been deeply spiritual for me—a form of healing I never expected.
If you’re thinking about coming to The Remedy, don’t wait. I can’t recommend them enough. The team here changed my life, and I’ll always be grateful for the care and healing I found here.”
